Taj Pollard (he/him) is an interdisciplinary artist, curator, & writer based in Milwaukee, WI, where he received his BFA in New Studio Practice from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. He is the founder and creative director of the arts collective p(H)ish, and works as an independent curator of zine and book arts, time-based media, and new genres in public art. His passions for public programming and artist-led spaces fuel his mission to cultivate positive community engagement and cultural aesthetics. Taj's fellowship places him in the Modern and Contemporary department where he is mentored by associate curator Robyn Farrell and collections manager Jay Dandy.
